Hum With Me (poem)

A quadrille prompt this week came from De Jackson, asking that our latest dVerse Poets 44 worder include the word “Hum”

//////////////////////////////////////////

Hum With Me

He hummed a tune he didn’t know

recognizable only for needs

to hum

beautiful

    discordant

        bright

droning

    magical

        sharp

pillowed

    angry

        measured

even

danceable with left feet

should he wear the wrong shoes

and soon he was song

and was lifted from the morass

  1. Let me write an insightful comment about the poem “Hum With Me” which is about humming a tune. I should comment on the theme, the creative writing exercise, etc. Let me draft something in Spanish: “Qué bonita exploración del acto de tararear.
